How We Calculate This
Each gore is a tapered panel. The waist, hip, and hem widths are divided equally among all gores, plus seam allowance.
The formula
Width per gore = Circumference ÷ Number of gores + (SA × 2)
Gore height = Skirt length + SA + Hem
Gores per row = floor(Fabric width ÷ Max gore width)
